Made a thread a few months back and thought about building one myself. Not confident enough and i like the 2 year warranty supplied with OC computers. Already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Was looking at this computer:

Kinda got everything i am looking for i.e. i5 quad, 2gb graphics, 8gb ram, OS etc.

Main queries are lack of info about the 1tb HDD and how the ram isn't fully supported by the motherboard or is that just me. Anyone else have similar pre-built rigs they could suggest :)

rams fine and hard drive make can be asked when ordering, they will say make and model and speed, you can always swap it out and alter it when ordering to a sdd or something else you want, they will help in any way they can, phone or webnote.

i had a amd one last week, it was great, case is also nice, stands out, good build and best support in the UK tbh

must admit i still do like those cases as well, might have to buy myself one as ive built enough for others with them

and do like Sapphire cards, good support same as OC

Think i'll put in Win 7 and the 7850 so i still have some money to put in a 1TB HDD

I've got the same system with the 7850, only difference is i specced win 8 (why not, i was gonna do it sometime).
The pc is brilliant, very fast, almost silent, runs perfectly cool, how they squashed the massive mount doom into the 300 still makes me smile. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The only regret is that i didn't get an SSD which will be my next purchase.

IMO that's nonsensical, a 7950 is leaps and bounds ahead of a 7850, why compromise on this? A 1TB HDD can be had for next to nothing, even external via USB if you want.

Chris.

Just saw this system is on offer this week with £35 off so i might purchase on Saturday. Think i'll bump up to the 7870 and upgrading to a 1tb should take me up to that £800 mark. The 7950 is just out my price range and tbh i don't think i use it to its potential. Thanks for the suggestions anyway :)

+1 as allready said storage is cheap and if your spending more on the 7870 you would be better spending just that little bit more to get the 7950
