best pre built pc for £800?

my mate wants to get a pc for xmas, he has a budget of about £800, he would like a pre built one.

anyone got any ideas for the best at that price?

What does he plan on using the PC for? As this can effect recomendations, that said personally Id go for this with a 5770 gfx card, and then add the mouse kb separately - though recomendation may change depending on intended uses

Tho I would think about switching the case for something bigger/better if possible and definitely grab mouse from logitech G series : ), either g5 g9 or g500.

Don't forget that mouse is one of the most important parts of the PC, it gives you comfort when using and increases your performance ;-)

. I got my first Logitech G5 over 4yrs ago, paid 70quid for it but it was worth it, I would never go back to cheapo mice again.

The CPU isn't overclocked like the warlord. Overclocking speeds up the CPU making it peform like a much more expensive version. Making the Warlord a really good value gaming rig. The 5770 will be well balanced with the 3.8ghz quad core CPU. A video card upgrade in a year or two would be beter value than the 5870 now. You will need an operating system installed, (Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit). Taking the price to £850+p&p.

High res then (=better comp needed). Still be good for that, at a guess with the 5770 gaming at hi settings on older games and medium/high on the newer ones.
