Best Pro Evo 5 Update Patch?

Hey there all you PES fans,

Have download Pesmagazines Patch Evolution 6, the one that comes in 8 parts with the password of Japan2006, but am not impressed with it, still doesn't have proper team names and just looks pants?

Whats the best update patch around for PES 5? I know wolf created an excellent one for PES 4

Any PES 5 patch reccommedations please?
 
i was going to look into a patch for PES5, but was worried about online play, i know the wolf pack worked online for PES4, but with the improved online features does patching the game still work for online play? as thats all i do.

It was nothing to do with Fifa 2006, it was due to the patches using copyright images (the badges and logos on the strips) which were illegal, and pressure was brough to bear against the patch hosts. There's meant to be patches coming out with the copyrighted stuff taken out, but I don't know when we'll see it.
 
i know where you can get it but not sure i can say, and it will cost you money to buy bandwitdh (however it is the best download tool EVER)

anyway, if it is superpatch 2.0 im downloading now.

does it work online?

EDIT: stopped download, it only works online if other person has it = pointless
 
I downloaded it before it was taken off then forgot to save it when I wiped my hd. Luckily some nice person emailed me a copy of it. Obviously I understand why it had to be taken down but imo it just seems a little stupid.
 
PESFAN.com is the best place to get it. I might still have the patch on my computer I am not sure. Will look for you.

And no it doesnt interfere with the online games.
 
Superpatch 2.0 is excellent and was around (in several parts) on filefront until recently.
The legendary Wolf also has a patch out - not sure how similiar to the superpatch it is (I think there was some joint delevelopment). I found a torrent for it via pesfan and other pro evo/soccer game forums.

As far as I know both patches will only work online if the other person also has the same patch - its because it updates the database roster in the game (not just the option file)

Not entirely true i'm afraid. If you install the default online database file you can play with all the right strips and names online as well. :cool:

ah sweet, thats all im really after, ill get it later then and look into how to install the normall database, cheers for the tip.
