best program/command for sorting music

Hi, im thinking of buying ipod classic 160gb
so would like to sort music before i put it all on.

would like program/command to remove all dots/dashes/underscores etc
and capitalise all first letters.

this would save me a lot of time going thro each song/album 1 by 1.

thanks, i understand that ipods use there own and i find it very annoying, ive got 4gb nano and had to redo everything my own way!!
thats fine with dozen albums but when you got over 100gb of music !!

i think my main request would be program just to remove all the dots/dashes etc
once i import to itunes i will then have to redo my way.

will try on a few albums before doing them all (tad over 20,000 songs)

im not a fan of tagging it from an on line source. reason is when imported to itunes it then adds the ft artist which really annoys me! if you have "artist ft artist"
it puts it in itunes as 2 separate artists
