Hi all,

We use Exchange 2003 in a Windows domain, but now have 1 Mac running OSX Snow Leopard wanting to connect to the exchange server and use mail/calendaring etc.

I realise the inbuilt Mail app can only talk to Exchange 2007, can you recommend me one that can talk to Exchange 2003 please?

thanks.

If you have control over the Exch2k3 environment you could enable IMAP or POP3 for the Email piece. For calendars though.....

Entourage, part of Office 2008, will give you access to the whole mailbox. It's poney though unfortunately.

I use Outlook 2010 - but in Parallels.

To be fair even with support in Mail/Calendar for Exchange 2007 it's still rubbish compared to Outlook. Probably the single bit of software I miss from the Windows world.

wow, there really isn't many options out there.

thanks for your post. By "poney" do you mean rubbish?

I'm thinknig about seeing if there's a Windows emulator out there so our new Mac user can use Outlook and the rest of MS office.....

ooh just realised what you said there about Parallels, that's a windows emulator. Is it the best one out there would you say?

right thanks :) just had a thought though - are there such things as remote desktop clients for Macs where I could connect to one of our Windows Terminal Servers perhaps?

To re-address this thread, is there any software for the mac which can actually use 2003 exchange services? Entourage doesn't use it on the mac unless you upgrade from home and student edition of office 2008 and the 2011 version doesn't have outlook on it unless you buy the business edition, and even then I dont even know if it works or not lol.

This is for my university email -.-
