so my 7990 that was returned started artfacting already in a few games like Mafia II,watchdogs.
Before I send anything back i like to make a reproducible scenario for the testers. makes their lives easier & shows i put effort into helping them.
sometimes it happen in 20 minutes sometimes 1 hour. However when it does happen it happens a lot until you exit the game.
is their a decent program just to fill the VRAM & test each bit?
to see if i can see the problem
used Uniengine Valley it found nothing after 3 benchmark runs but only used 2.2GB of 3GB
Issues seen:
Random red dot patterns
Colour Lines Textures
Sometimes Very slow response
(its running at say 60fps but it looks like its in slow motion) then catches up
& artfacts everywhere after
