Best program to transfer songs from ipod -> computer

I want to transfer some songs from my iPod onto my computer.

I need them saved as Mp3s as well.

What is the best free program for this?

Winamp I think can do what you're asking for. I presume that you haven't installed iTunes or anything like that.

Ok I'm in the Winamp media library and it's detected my ipod, how and I meant to transfer the songs onto my PC?

Yamipod

Standalone prog. so no need to install. It doesn't edit iTuned.DB so ipod won't be wrecked.
Plus its free.
