I need to purchase a power supply, currently building a pc for somebody in the family and I refuse to skimp by using cheap power units!

I want:

Good capacitors
Long cables

I am leaning towards:

Is there any reason at all these should be avoided? It has been at least 3 years since I bought a new power supply for anything. I am liking the Enermax, had one years ago and was a very solid, good quality unit.

The machine needing the psu is not blistering fast, but I want reliability foremost!

Thanks :)

It will be powering an older gen q6600 quad-core, but rebuilt with all new parts, new video card etc (HD6870)

I will be adding an an Icy-Dock 3 x sas/sata bay and another 4 x sata hard drives including a blu-ray sata writer.

No overclocking, just need it to be a good solid reliable machine.

Yup I agree it is overkill but might aswell give it headroom if the whole lot gets upgraded again later.

Personally I am fed up with cheap rubbish power supplies, mainly had bad luck with Antec's going down because of dodgy capacitors!

So...

Anybody able to confirm the Superflower does have good brands in them?
From what I have gleamed via googling it appears they have Nippon Chemi-cons?

Also this Superflower psu has to fit an Lian-Li PC-7FNWX. It seems a little longer than average?

10year warranty! that is crazy lol! Reminds me of when Seagate used to offer 5years...

Anyone know, which of the three has the longest ATX lead/connector?
I want to avoid using an extension. Already ran into that problem with this Lian-Li case trying out an older coolermaster psu. The psu sits on the bottom, not the top. So the atx lead might not reach. I want to route it around the back of the motherboard tray if possible.
