Best PSU

Any recommendations for PSU's

I'd prefer to stick with corsair / Antec

will haev i7 oc'd , xfire 5950's , 9 fans, and 6 hdd's to power.

worth getting Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-850HXUK)

or do any otehrs come to mind, thanks

5950? is that a 5970 thats lost some 'power'?

do you mean 5850 or 5970?

+1 to this, do you have SB i7 or the old 1366 i7, its just that the SB i7 is more power efficient and uses less power

IMO, the best you can get are Enermax PSUs. I recently tested an NZXT HALE90 and was extremely impressed with the results! Voltage stability was strong and it had very low noise, you also get 80+ Gold- a fantastic unit.

Generally, I would say Enermax, Antec or Super Color. Thing is, those manufacturers often make PSUs for other companies who just rebrand them.

for crossfire 6950's go for any of these:

1 x Antec TruePower New Modular 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £69.98

don't forget the corsairs

also could go for 750w.

if they were priced sensibly then i would go with them in a heartbeat. the three ive recommended have all had great reviews and are sensibly priced
