I am building a low cost watercooling loop for my Q6600, but i am having trouble finding the perfect pump!

Currently i have a modified VW polo heatercore(to 1/2" barbs), and i am planning to buy an EK supreme waterblock.

I dont want to spend any more than £30 on a pump, and i dont mind if it is mains powered or 12v.

I am looking at the D-Tek DB-1 (DD-CPX1) 12VDC Pump, or an inline aquarium one, like an eheim.

I dont plan to watercool my GPU or chipset.

Any advice is appreciated as this is my first watercooling setup, am im trying to learn as much as possible!

Many thanks

Charlie

Don't get the supreme unless you intend on using a powerfull pump such as the DDC. The DB-1 is a good little pump but it is underpowered and may struggle with the supreme and a heatercore together. Better to go with the D-tek fuzion cpu block as its a lot more free flowing.
