Best PVE healer? WoW

I am looking to re roll on WoW since i wanna heal heroics, but what's the best class for this? Shaman? Priest?

I'd say Druid. Shaman is pretty good for group heals though aswell.

Personal favorite is Druid. I'd like to try a priest though as they are supposed to be the best.

Pick whichever you enjoy the most, as all healing classes are in demand.

I had a 60 druid pre-TBC and he was pretty effective then, but by all accounts they have buffed the healing abilities of druids, shaman and priests to make them effective in different ways.

My current character is a priest - and my investigations lead me to believe that the best option for five-men groups (rather than raids) was a Disc Priest (which is my second spec) while I use Shadow for levelling. It's actually quite enjoyable - up to 70 and just got to Northrend - I've only been to one instance so far though (Hellfire Ramparts) - and had no worries at all keeping the tank on his feet.

Priest. The only healing class that will give you two distinct 'styles' of healing.
Also they're awesome in PvP.

theres no better healer in pve, each healer has its ups and downs in different fights, raid healing druids, shammys, single target healing palla's, then priests are evenly good at both, all depends what fight and what your healing, and what your style is, if someone says..."The best healer is..." then there full of crap.

personaly i love druid healers, but i also understand different fights different healers stand out, and depending on what job your doing.
