About to click buy on the Gigabyte EP43-DS3 board (reccomended by a firend), but thought i'd ask for 2nd opinion before i did.

Dont need SLI, need a good solid quad O/C board, that is pretty simple, and very stable.

Budget of around £70, but is a WEE bit flexible (obviously if its cheaper, great).

TIA

Most of the p45 range are good for clocking quads, although may be a little to expensive (though the asus p5q is only £76...). I havent seen any reviews etc of the p43 chipset, so perhaps someone else could lend a hand there, but will vouch for the excellence of the p45 range. Some of the p35 boards like the abit ip35 and the asus p5k also have a reputation for being very good clockers. You may be able to find one of these for a decent price, although i guess they are now 'old tech', they are still good performers.

supposedly P43s are meant to have their fsb limited to ~400fsb compared to P45 but I haven't seen anybody actually confirm/deny that from experience.
