Best quality areo wipers?

Alca. Cheaper than Bosch, German, sleeker design, exact same quality.

I fitted some £7 ebay aero wipers to my car 2 years ago, and they're still fine. They just need a clean every few months to keep them running smoothly.

I used to get Bosch and they were good but I thought I'd give some cheaper ones a try that were recommended.

I got the own brand ones from www.wiperblades.co.uk and so far (~3 months) they've been great and they cost less than half the price of the Bosch.

I'd reccommend these also, I had some Bosch that went noisy after 6 months. The own brand wipers from wiper blades are very good.

Bosch seem to always go hard and noisy after about a year in my experience.

same. Loads of people say they aint changed there wipers for years, yet mine are only acceptable for about 6-9months, after that they are annoying. Thinking of trying some PIAA blades next.

I've found Bosch start off well but go off after 12 months.

I had a set of Valeo flat blades on the Mondeo for about 3 years with no problems. The wear indicators went orange after 9 months, so I removed the labels.

I replaced them with Goodyear blades about 9 months ago because they were on offer in Costco, but they weren't as good as the old Valeo's from the moment I put them on.

It would definetely be Valeo for me next time. I've had good results with their ordinary wipers on other cars too.

If your wipers are squeaking, you need to clean them with vinegar and adjust the angle of the blade to the screen by bending the wiper arm. You can get a tool to do this but I've never found the need.

Tried vinegar on my bosch flat blades, they still squeak. I have the tunes on so don't hear them unless someone else is in car when I don't have tunes so loud :s

Went for the Valeo flat blades from wiperblades.co.uk

They were priced between the cheap own brand and Bosch so thought I'd give them a try considering they are OEM suppliers

Can let people know what they are like if interested

I've tried both Valeo and Bosch and can't say one is better than the other in my experience. I just buy whatever is on special offer at the time out of the two manufacturers. Managed to get Bosch ones cheaper than equivalent Valeo's last time but I'd go for either or.

We did try Tesco flatblades on my wifes car last year and they were ok and cheap as chips but looked pretty grim, the part that attaches to the car's wiper arm was the size of a small house.

What model are halfords doing? I picked some up last weekend and although they are silent, the passenger side wiper isn't making full contact in one area.
Maybe I put it on wrong? :s
