What the best quiet cpu cooler that will fit in a v1000+ with a asus A8N-SLI motherboard.??

Was going to order this case & Enermax Liberty 620W yesterday but am a little struck on which cpu cooler to put in with my order...
Was looking at a Zalman CNPS7700-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler - Retail (HS-010-ZA) but it looks like it be dam close if it would fit or not..

there about 68mm to 70mm from the centre of my cpu socket to the bottom of the motherboard..(bottom as if it was mounted in the v1000+)

And how am I meant to know :p

Ones I know will fit are the Big Typhoon and XP120.

Have not ever seen a ninja as im a water camper :p

The ninja from my google seems to be quite nice. But I can vouch for the Thermalrights and the Big Typhoon rip off design.

I would recommending lapping the heatsink aswell, quite a good way of getting some free degrees.

took from here: http://sysbuild.corsairmemory.com/report.aspx?id=2

But I am pretty sure there are better coolers at that price. Correct me if I'm wrong

That fits fine, the v1000+ conforms to the ATX 2.0 Specification exactly.

The A8N Sli Premium in a v1000 however is not to much of a hot idea, heatpipe upside down and all, gets quite toasty.

How about if i take the heatpipe off and turn it around so the heatpipe goes up and mend it to fit somehow , some were....

Thanks for the quick replys guys..

That would work, I ran that board in the case fine, just was a little on the hot side, as long as you have some airflow over the NB its not a issue.

But it is designed to be the other way up :p

Just had a look on there website..

CNPS7000B-Cu LED
- Dimensions : 109 (L) x 109 (W) x 62 (H) mm

CNPS7700-Cu
- Dimensions : 136(L) x 136(W) x 67(H)mm

dam it's smaller

Look like i may have to order a Zalman CNPS7000B-CU Ultra-Quiet.
