Best racing game for Xbox controller

Hey all,

really fancy trying a racing game/sim, but I'll just be using an xbox controller. Ideally I don't want it to be arcady, but I realise it can hardly be dead realistic using the pad.

What's out there? Never played one on the PC in my life!

DiRT 2/3, F1 2011 and pCars are all pretty good, pCars being the most realistic of them all, never tried it on pad myself but heard it works pretty well and there are a few people on here who use it.

Cool, I'll check out the reviews. Shift 2 any good? Only £10 on steam.

Shift 2 isn't too bad, not the best. Maybe wait to see if it goes cheaper on steam, would be worth it for around £5.

I give up. It's impossible to keep the thing on the track using that ****** knob on the controller. To enjoy this I'd need a wheel.

Agreed.
Dirt 2/3 work OK as well.
