Best racing game?

I'm looking for the ultimate racing game to play.

I was debating getting Forza 4 for the 360 with a steering wheel. But I was wondering if there's a better racing game than Forza 4 for the PC? I would prefer to play it on the PC for the obvious reasons (better graphics ect). But only if the game is as good/better than Forza 4.

Also are there any good steering wheels for the PC? I don't want to spend a lot of money though!

DF GT/pro or the G27 are good wheels.

Depends what you want from a racing game, for me iracing is the best racing game in terms of physics/handling/tracks

iRacing all the way for me, but i want a simulation and realism (apart from the damn SR haha).
