Hi, I am currently building a Racing Cockpit for my games room that will be accompanied with the G25 Sterring Wheel/Pedals. (Project Log later)

I have Dirt 3, and Grid 2. these are great. what other racing games work well with the G25? any info would be great thanks ! :)

Richard burns rally is a must on pc . its about 5 quid and there is a 2013 mod which adds loads of free tracks and upto about 80 cars maybe more for free.

dirt 3 you have would have been next which is really good once configured right on a wheel.

Iracing. You pay a premium compared to others but its more than worth it if you're serious about being competitive and want a proper sim. Rfactor is close but like other driving sims I find it difficult to really 'feel' the car like iracing.

iracing if you want a serious online racing environment where once you get out of the rookie class people tend to race like you would in real life.

great game if you can be bothered to put the hours in you won't get a better realistic racing experience anywhere else.

the subscription you pay is well worth it if you have the time to do a few races each day

If you think the Dirt and Grid games are great with your wheel you are going to **** the bed when you play iracing and realise what proper FFB feels like...

so yeah...

Iracing and then also get Assetto Corsa when thats released

iracing has good rep in Sim community and track lists is awesome.

unfortunately I think the car line up is very weak unless you love Nascar and the subscription has always put me off.

Rfactor 2 is still in development so don't expect tons of content

F1 series from Codemasters, but I never liked it on PC or PS3

dunno how Race 07, Toca, GTR, Live for speed have aged? used to play them years ago, and I never bothered reinstalling them

doesn't leave that much in PC

get a PS3 and play GT5, GT6 is out in Dec. on PS3 and they work with G25

As far as Iracing goes you pay for what you get. High quality premium content. That comes at a price. Roughly £40 a year. Not much more than 20 minutes at my local karting track. Or a few pounds off some codemaster crappy game like f1 201*.

Its a steal and no where near has expensive as everyone tried to make out. I also think it as a great list of cars that is forever improving.

BTCC Honda Civic soons. Thats all im waiting on.

Just lol terrible game best thing to do with dirt3 is uninstall it from your PC.
Then install Iracing. Forget everything else even exists.

lol at the iracing love. dirt 3 is good if set up right.

also i have played iracing and sorry to say richard burns is better in everyway especially with the 2013 mod installed.

That comes at a price. Roughly £40 a year.

for 10 mediocre tracks and 7 crappy cars, the rest are additional to buy!

you can get GT5 Academy edition for about £15 which includes most DLC (cars and tracks) not to mention if you're good enough a shot at GT academy and race for real ;)

if the xbox had proper wheel support I would recommend Forza as well

G25 works well with GT5, as stated.

IRacing is for dedicated sim racers only. You need a lot of practice to enjoy it and the best cars and tracks aren't included in the base content. It is the best racing sim around, but it does come with a premium price tag.

I enjoyed DIRT 2 when I had a G25 and Race 07 and the expansions are worth it if you pick them up in the next Steam Sale (late November will be the next one)
