Yo, need advice on the best RAM available to finish off my build I'll be making in a month or two. I don't think I need to go any higher than 8GB.

Current brainstormed build:

MSI Z68A-GD65-G3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard [Z68A-GD65 (G3)]

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM

XFX ATI Radeon HD 7970 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower - Black [CC650DW-1]

XFX 850W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Silver' Power Supply [P1-850B-NLG9]

Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+/AM3/LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366) [GEL-TRANQUILLO ]

Thanks in advance

Yep, 2X4GB dual kit all the way, it'll be cheaper.

More expensive RAM if you want to push it up speed-wise.

Obviously bear in mind you'll need a x64 OS. ;)

DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel ram is the sweet spot for Sandy Bridge, there's hardly any gain for getting faster more expensive ram.

But if you're not going to be building it for a couple of months I'd come back then and re do the specs, as there will be Z77 Chipset motherboards coming out around then with the Ivy Bridge CPU's.
