Best RAM for about £30?

I need to stay cheap so my budget is absolutely no more than £35.

At the moment I have the Geil Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400 and that for £30 from a competitor. It's great RAM and I think it will suit my needs perfectly (gaming, 3D modelling, DVD, etc) My brother has it in his E6600, 8800GTX PC and it works fine.

He did mention that it is quite old and I might be able to get a better deal for £30.

Anyone have any suggestions or am I pretty much getting the best I can for my budget?

I would normally suggest the Geil or the OCZ Platinum XTC, but they've both jumped in price to £35 this week.

The Geil Black Dragon at £31 is meant to be pretty good, but no better than the Geil Ultra. The G.Skill Pk would be grand also.

The Crucial Ballistix is better than any of them, but it's very prone to failure.

For that budget you're looking at the Geil or OCZ PC6400 CAS4.

Even though they've been around a while they're the best deal. Faster RAM makes very little difference to performance.

If your budget wasn't so limited and you're running a 64bit OS I would have recommended a 2x2GB kit like the OCZ kits.

As Cob said, these fail too often to be worth the hassle.
