Best ram for my spec pls help!

I have brought the following motherboard...

i also have phenom II 955 with ATI 5770, what would be the best 4gig set for under £100 for gaming?? as im abit unsure..

since its DDR3 you want 3 or 6Gig so it will run in Triple Channel

Dont get triple channel, That motherboard only has a dual channel controller. I dont know which is the "best" but this is a good set for just over 100.

Yeah get that RAM, I used 2 x 2GB sticks in a new build for a mate on exactly the same both and no it only has a dual channel controller so tripple channel is a waste of time.

The G.Skill I mean its very fast RAM!

Oh what, just looked on the site and they dont even sell the stuff I bought 2 weeks ago anymore, what a shame!

hello again,

Still cant get my head around all the numbers etc, on this mobo can i fit any dual channel kit i,e 10666,12800 and 14400+.

Memory: 4x DDR3 DIMM 1800(OC) / 1600(OC) / 1333 / 1066 / 800 MHz (Max. 16GB)

Im not 100% clued up on this but, You can fit 1600mhz ram for definate, and i think higher as long as its dual channel and not tripple channel. Although you may have to fiddle a bit to get it working at its specified speed (eg. 1600mhz) The ram you posted will fit your MB, it just doesnt have as tight timings at the £108.99 set i posted, although you wont notice much of a difference, so if you want to save a bit of money go for the set you posted (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-042-GS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517)

The G. Skill Ripjaws are a good buy (when they are back in stock) and a quick call to OCuk before purchase, to check with the Tech guys, would not do any harm. Timings will vary dependent on OC and stability.
