Best Ram Slots

Hi have have 4 slots for my ram on motherboard, and 2 sticks of 1gb ddr2, which are the best slots to put it in for fastest performance

Dimm 1 (blue)
Dimm 2 (black)

Dimm 3 (blue)
Dimm 4 (black)

I was gunna go for the 2 blue slots , Dimm 1 and Dimm 3, is that the best option?

Maybe I should put this in a new thread but I recently built a PC and arranged the sticks in 1 & 3. Everything seemed fine to bio but then when trying to install windows I kept getting blue screen errors that looked memory related.

I moved the sticks to slots 1 & 2 and it all worked. Is this ok or am I losing out on some performance.

MB is the Asus P5n-e Sli. Memory 2 gb Crucial Ballistix 6400.

Think you may be missing out on some performance. For dual channel RAM you need to use slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4.
