Best RAM ???

im building a gaming pc, im confused about What ram to get, some say that the Corsair Vengence is the best but one of my freinds has just baught the Samsung Green and he says that the samsung is twice as fast when overclocked, Can someone please help me ?

samsung green is better value for money than pretty much anything. i however bought ballistix tracer just for looks really, i dont really notice the difference in what ram im using, aslong as i have enough of it!

Corsair Vengence stuff isn't good at overclocking. The Corsair Dominator is (especially the platinum range), did he mean that?

Either way, Samsung Green is awesome.

im not sure if it were the corsair dominator but im thinking about the Kingston Hyper X, would you say that Samsung Green is better than the Kingston Hyper X ?

Yes.
Though i am a big fan of the Samsung Green so probably not a good idea taking my opinion.

Samsung Green is small, therefore no issues with height and heatsinks at all.
It's cheap and can overclock extremely well, over 2400MHz for many, so long as your IMC is up to it.

Intergrated/Internal Memory Controller. This is on the CPU and it's overclocking capabilities differ from chip to chip. Some allow 2133MHz max some are capably of going as far as 2600MHz.

What CPU do you have?

as of yet, i havent built my computer but im thinking about the Intel i5 3570k

That's an IvyBridge chip, which has generally has a strong IMC.

Rossi Is offering great advice here. Hit up some Samsung Green overclock em and learn so much about your rig in the process.
