hi guys, on my pc i use own autodownloader however this is not compatible with mac so just wondering if anyone can recommend one rapidshares

Speed Download is far and away the best I've used. I used to use iGetter but its bugs never seemed to get fixed, no matter how many reports I filed. Use the FlashGot Firefox extension for awesome browser integration (highlight a set of links, right click, download selection).
Since I'd prefer a 100% free-as-in-beer solution, I compiled wxDFast for OS X and it worked wonderfully for everything except Rapidshare. It apparently doesn't support their authentication method.

hmm, any ideas how i can get flashget working, if i highlight a set of links then right click, no option comes up to download with flashget? Can't even open flashget as a seperate program to download the files?

FlashGot, not flashget. It's an extension that passes downloads to 3rd party download managers, such as Speed Download. It's no good on its own. Install Speed Download and point FlashGot to it.
