Hi all,
I used to have a knog blinder which was great but the strap kept breaking. I have a moon comet(?) now and it doesn't flash. I want a flashing one at that is much more visible to car drivers in these dreary days.

Can anyone recommend one please? I have a £50 voucher for Evans however I want to spend nowhere near that as I'd like to get some other bits too.

I've a Moon Nebula I picked up from Evans' in a sale for £26, well worth keeping an eye out for!

My go-to rear is the Exposure TraceR. They're usually towards the top of your budget, but you can snap them up the 'bay for much cheaper (most sell for £26-28).

I would say for these gloomy winter days (and dawn/dusk riding) you need a rear with a minimum of 50 lumen flash to stand out.

Cheers all. Evans is the only choice as I have a voucher.

I don't want something so bright it blinds drivers as I've followed them on the London to Paris rides at night. Knog blinder was perfect compromise apart from crap strap.

After a lot of research, I invested in a Bontrager Flair R USB (£45 from Evans)

Amazing light, Day and Night modes (Flash, steady and Steady with flash) In day mode its mad bright.
