Best recent singleplayer games

My connection is crap atm, so i need some good single player games.

Already got:
gta games
HL2
far cry
stalker
fear
quake/doom games
CoH
bioshock at the end of the month,
oblivion
etc.

any recommendations?

Red Alert 2 can be very challenging if you set the AI to very hard.
Prey is good but beware you may get headaches as i did

cant beleive no one has said Call of Duty 2, im playing through the campaign again, its amazing, graphics are still crisp, the game its self with the action is truely amazing. on of my favs

Return to castle wolfenstein is an oldie but the graphics arent bad at all, replayed it recently & theres some good stuff with natzi experimental creatures & zombies etc.

I like the climbing bits too as opposed to shooting and I thought TR:Anniversary had some great levels.
Anniversary and Stalker are the only two games I've really enjoyed this year.

Call of Juarez

It has DX10 support with the USA version, but only DX9 in Europe

Still a great looking game in DX9 though

Stalker and Overlord are the best PC single player titles i've played this year, not long until Bioshock though

TR:A is amazing, i bought the collectors edition, and it really does stick to the original feel, they even have the mansion in it with all the cool quests

Also finding The Longest Journey quite entertaining in a slightly old school but with decent graphics adventure type game.
Overlord's pretty good but you're never really as evil as the game might suggest.
