Best resolution?

Hi guys i have just recieved my new pc and monitor:

But i have no idea what is the best resolution to play games in as i used to just stick to 1024x768! Please tell me guys

I have the resolution set to: 1680x1050 on the desktop! I hope thats ok as i just installed the new NVIDIA drivers so i cant remember what the native resolution was >.<
