My parents have an old Netgear WGR614v4 router that is starting to show its age. It seems to struggle when 4 or more devices connect wirelessly, the range is appalling and there is intermittant loss of connection with the cable modem.
So i am looking for a new Router for there Virgin media broadband package. And the main issue is range. Id like to try and get it as good as possible. IE working at the end of the garden with the router in the corner of the living room.
Speed isnt an issue as they only have 10MB broadband. Although it might be nice if it had some kind of QOS to set the priority of torrents etc to lowest.
Any suggestions?
