Best router for round £100...

My current one has conked out, I'm with Virgin, so have a modem as well, what's the best option for me? Not too clued about router! :)

If you're just after a standard router, a Netgear RP614 would do the job.

You can get wireless routers for not much more so might be worth getting one if you think you'll use a laptop on it at some point.

Definitely using laptops on it.

I'll be directly connected to it, then it'll need to handle 2 wireless desktops and 2 laptops. (They're not all being used all the time obviously... but :))
 
Ah so a wireless cable router is what you need ;)

For general use the Netgear WGR614 would do the job, or the WNR3500L would be better if the laptops can make use of the extra speed (i.e. if they are 'N' wireless rather than 'G').
 
It's probably worth getting a wireless 'N' router anyway as they seem to have better wireless 'G' performance and all new clients should have wireless 'N'.
