Best Router for VM?

I'm looking for a decent router for my VM 200Mbps connection. Don't want to spend more than £80 - £100.

PC will be wired. Other things like TV/Phones etc will be wireless.

Asus RT-N66U Black Diamond Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router a good choice?

What's wrong with the supplied one? Admittedly I'm only on 70Mb, but unless you need advanced features like VPNs, QoS, load-balancing, etc. I've never had any problems with my SH2.

They're good but now quite old. I'd look at their more recent models with wireless AC.

Assuming VM means Virgin Media, problem with the one they provided?

I use a TP-Link Archer C7 on my Virgin 150mb connection. Got it for £60 and has been rock solid and stable.

This website is useful - http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/tools/charts/router/view as it allows you to see the WAN to LAN throughput. My previous "gigabit" router would only give me 110mbs on Virgin as although the LAN was gigabit (ie between two PCs connected to LAN ports on it the speed was 1GB, but anything coming from the WAN to these devices couldn't get the full 150mb from Virgin).

If you've got a new Superhub 3 (white one) then it might be worth giving that a go first to see if it meets your requirements. Unless you're after more advanced features anyway that is.

Superhub 2 AC - damaged in transit to new house as the WiFi kept dropping etc, requested a Superhub 3. See how that goes.
