hi guys,

Thinking of getting Sky fibre unlimited but there home hub they supply is pants so I'm needing a replacement combined modem/router with gigabit support, Ive seen a few threads saying the Asus RT-N66U will work? If so whats required to set it up,

Cheers

Cheers James Im better keeping this in one thread :) Is there any Tp link routers that dont need to to have the firmware updated Ive not got a clue about this stuff????

The TP-LINK VR900 works with Sky, you'll need a BETA firmware directly from them first, though its due to be officially released soon (I've got it if you need it?)

I've had the RT-N66U on my Sky Fibre for about 18 months now, absolutely fautless never needed to reboot it. Get good Wifi too. Really worth the money.

Hi Space Monkey how easy was it to setup and do you know if it will work with sky fibre pro as Im getting the fibre unlimited 36mb but might upgrade to the 76mb in the future

Its just a file, install is dead easy, one click and you're done :)

Fibre pro should be no different?
