A pre order for brass tactics has just shown on the front of my oculus home and i have to say it looks pretty cool. Absolutely loving the tabletop aspect of it and it makes me quite excited for what they can do going forward, it's also given me an itch to play a rts so wondered if there are any people are playing at the moment that are worth picking up?

Also would love to see a proper dice and all tabletop game in vr like 40k or infinity. I would sink so many hours into this!

There's AirMech Command, but as to how popular it is online, you'll be lucky to find a few at any given time. Top downs so far have mainly been tower defence, hit and miss on quality.

Like yourself I wait the day that a decent table top appears, the scope for animated miniatures, detail and immersion is huge. Tabletop sim works in vr, but it is what it is, and cumbersome with motion controls.

Not quite an RTS, but Landfall is very good. You control one character in a futuristic battle area with your perspective overlooking the action.

Tabletop simulator has loads of 40k mods. I gave it a quick go in VR ages ago but it was playing up. Not sure if it officially supports rift yet.
