Been a lurker for many, many years and only signed up so I could put certain people on ‘ignore’. Now if I want to follow a certain thread it seems I need to post enough to gain access to SC. Oh well, guess thems the rules…

Happy to lurk, been doing it since the early 2000s I reckon. Thought I bought an AMD K5 back then but suspect it was a bit earlier, so might pre-date OC. Anyhoo I’m going to have to de-lurk if I want to follow a thread.

Pretty sure it didn’t exist way back then. We all fell foul of the “next day delivery” thing where ‘next day’ to you meant the day following when the supplier got it in stock.

Not worried! I’d have remained one were it not for having to sign up purely to put certain posters on ‘ignore’. Now I have to engage to gain access to follow a specific thread. Still, thems the rules.
