Best screws for MDF?

The larger the wheel the more it evens out the surface it is going over so the less the vibrations. Generally though larger wheels aren't solid and have a rubber tyre on them.

Ah fair enough, these have rubber wheels, but very small and hard rubber.

I don't really have any moving parts in my machine that I couldn't replace at the LAN so hopefully I'll be ok :)

Thank for the tee nut idea! these things are genuis! :D NEver seen them before until your post, so thanks for that :)

Put the wheels on last night as a test, all seems ok, just need to cut holes in the MDF to allow the feet of the PC to pass through the board and the rest of the PC to rest evenly on these:

I'm gluing two of those joined together and cut to size on top of the board so there is 20mm of thick foam protecting the PC from vibrations/scratching etc.

Going to be so ghetto lol

One thought that occurred to me is check the stability of the cart when it's at home, when I was going to LAN's (at Newbury) I always found that PC's on a trolley tended to be quite unstable as they were top heavy on what was usually a narrow base.

Yeah I will definitely have to check it out, I'm hoping with the PSU being at the bottom on mine it may not be too bad. Just fans at the top.
