Best settings for COD: Modern warfare ?

Hi guys,
I am a casual player and my hardware is not very powerful. Recently I have installed Call of Duty: modern warfare and I have started to get low fps. I found some links online about the best settings (in the game and for windows) on how to get higher FPS. Do you think that these settings are going to actually improve the performance https://www.bestsettings.com/guides/best-settings-for-call-of-duty-modern-warfare/ or should I just upgrade my hardware?

I have actually got a chance to look through the older threads sry

The only way you're going to know is to try it. If you've turned everything to low, tried lowering the resolution, done other non-ingame config tweaks and you still get low FPS, you're pretty much out of luck and will need to upgrade. If the game is unoptimised then that could also be a factor in low FPS, but there's not much you can do about that.

MW is also well known for hammering CPUs without HT, locking them out at 100%, so check your CPU usage as well
