Im building a new system but i already have Xfi on my current system so im putting the Xfi in my new system.

So ive got a really good sound card but im being told different things over and over to do with setting up the best speakers for my pc.

Ive been told to go out and get a set of either the logitech 2.1 setup for around £90 or the Acoustic Energy 2.1 pc speakers from ocuk.

Then again ive been told to go with seperates get a nice amp and a set of bookshelf speakers.

The reason im going with a max of 2.1 is because i practically live out of a room and theres nowhere i can run or place two surround speakers.

im not entirely sure what to go with here my buget is around the £200 mark.

I'm in a similar situation.

I want to upgrade my JBL Creature 2's but cannot decide between the different 2.1 speakers available.

The 3 contenders are the Logitech Z2300's, the AE Aego-M's, the Klipsch GMX.

As lots of people say separates are probably better, but at present I have neither the budget or space for that route. The only true way to compare those 3 is to hear them all in action, however I don't think there is a shop that has them all out on show!

hmm im trying to think of a place that would do that. as you said i dont think there is only way i suppose is wait until someone has a set and says there good or not. i know the logitech is a popular model but never heard them.
