im getting bored of bf2 and trackmania, i can always go back to play them.
im looking for a sim city type game, were i can control city and infrastructure etc etc, whats the best on offer in the shops ?
has to run on win7 too

simcity 4, ive read it wont work on 7 64bit
anyone know otherwise ?

Works fine on my laptop.. Tried it the other day because I was bored in work! I'm on a C2D with W7 64bit. It was a bit buggy if I alt-tabbed but if I didn't do that it was fine. :)

Sim City... and I remember Constructor for the PS was a good game as well (back when I still got pocket money and cheap 2nd-rate games was all I could afford), I think you can get it free for the PC now

Sorry, NAM is a Network Addon Mod that changes a few things in the game that were unbalanced. Just google SimCity NAM and you will find a lot on it.

That game was actually really hard...or was I just that young and dumb?

I played Cities XL and Sim City Societies... and most people will probably agree me, although they aim for something different, if you've ever played Sim City 1 > 4 you're going to just want to keep playing them... They're really not that good, if you ask me. Stick with Sim City 4! Or 3000!

Tropico 3 looks ok on steam. It was on sale for £5 a couple of weeks ago. I didn't buy it though, not really my thing.

I also still like the classics: Pharaoh, Caesar 3, etc...

Picked up Pharaoh and Cleopatra for a fiver in PC World the other day, started playing last night. I realised farily early on that I barely scratched the surface when i played it when originally released.

Still great fun!
