Best Single Height Card ?

I have a machine that i want to use as a HTPC. It's only a dual core 2.4ghz and it currently has an ATI Radeon 4850HD card. However the 4850 being from 2008 ish, doesn't have HDMI out.

I can only put a single height card in my case, and the 4850 is plenty powerful enough for playing MKV's, its just a shame it's lacking in an HDMI out..

I do also play the occasional game on the machine. Nothing too taxing mind, something along the lines of COD4..

Any recommendations as a replacmement, that is AT LEAST as powerful as the 4850 that it would be replacing, and that is single height, with HDMI ?

I was looking at the 6750, but the benchmarks had the 4850 giving it a proper whooping.

Do you mean single slot card, or "low-profile" card?

If you mean single slot card, then it is either the XFX single slot 5770 or 6770.

Low Profile then.. One that only takes one backing plate and not two, like 95% of the cards out there.

Pretty sure you mean single slot then. Low profile cards are the ones with nearly half "width", such as this:

So just go for either a XFX single slot 5770 1GB or single slot 6770 1GB.
