Best Single Player??

BF3 Singleplayer campaign.

I thought the Singleplayer was very cinematic and awesome.
The graphics are pretty darn good on max too.

This is all IMO obviously as I think some people didn't like BF3's Singleplayer.
 
Witcher 2 - awesome graphics and a great RPG
Skyrim + mods adds loads more content and graphics to the game making each unique.
Half life 2 has pretty outdated graphics, but there is a mod to improve them out there, and it's an awesome game :D
 
Another I've just started playing, Antichamber. The graphics are "functional" (imo great), it's a real head bender though

 
Skyrim. Quite stunning when given a nudge in the right direction.

It will need some modding, but that's a piece of cake with the right utilities. Perhaps a bit too easy. ;)

Now I loved Fallout 3, don't get me wrong, it's a great game.
In my opinion New Vegas is better by a long distance, more free-form, less black and white morally, with more grey scale choices, a nicer map, just a more fallout-y feel to it. (And less green :P)

So I'd say both. Play FO3 first, so that the differences stand out when you get to NV.

And OP there's massive modding communities for both so you can make them look very very fresh indeed.
 
Deus Ex and Deus Ex Human Revolution are both good (original is the best), but steer clear of Deus Ex 2 Invisible War (it's a shockingly bad console port)
 
Mass Effect series, 1 builds the platform, 2 is awesome and 3 is really good.
Bioshock Infinite, I wasn't a fan of the previous but this once I've really got into.
Dead Space series, 1 was okay, 2 was the best, 3 relatively good.
