I'm not very clued up when it comes to photos and printing etc, but my wife wants three photos printed so that we can frame them in the kitchen. I am not sure of available space, but want to know what the max size of print (in inches) that we should order to keep the picture quality is?

The photos are the following resolutions:

4096 * 3043
4096 * 3209
4096 * 3081

Presumeably I would have to crop the heights to the lowest for them all to be identical?

The cost of the prints is likely trivial compared with the cost of the frame, so get prints at the sizes you fancy, compare them, and then buy the frames.

Depends on the subject matter and viewing distance as to what size you can get away with in print.

Some people will say that mft sensors aren’t good enough to even print at A3 but mine looked fine and I’ve seen ones printed at A2 and even A1.

If you want to keep the absolute best and maximum quality so that you are only using the pixels in your camera rather than interpolated ones then you should be printing at 360ppi at A4.

I would suggest for max quality that you shouldn’t go above A4 with your photos. If you go above that, you will start losing quality. That doesn’t mean to say you couldn’t print at A3 at 300ppi and that it would be perfectly acceptable as it probably would be, it’s just it won’t be the “top quality” anymore. Would anybody notice? Doubt it,

So all depends what matters the most - absolute quality or size.
