Best SMS service?

I'm looking for a good website that I can send text messages from? I dont have free texts on my contract and I'm also looking for something I can use in work without phone in hand

Any recommendations? I've googled and seen a few. But just wondering if anyone uses anything in particular

How many people will you be texting? If it's just one or two people, then it won't be too much hassle to text them for free through your email.
