Best software to clone and HDD

Hello,

First off if this is in the wrong thread please feel free to move it.

So I'm new 2TB HDD is coming today and ideally I'd wanna move all the info from the old one to the new one plug it in and off I go, is this possible and if so whats the best software.

would agree with that, good bit of software.

if you want a free bit of software and your are running windows 7 you can use the backup and restore option which works well

Macrium reflect works perfectly and is also free.

Another vote for macrium reflect. You can also create a linux-based recovery disc to boot and restore from if everything is totally borked.
