Best software to Multi Remote desktops on same network

Hey,
Quick question whats the best software to use for remote desktop for multi computers on the same network, Generall I always used team viewer. But looking to see if there is any more options out there.
 
I've always just used the built in one....assuming they're all windows pro. With windows 8/10 there's the metro app to which works pretty well in my experience.
 
Depends if you want to shadow an already logged in user (remote access) or simply to login to that computer (remote desktop).
Windows RDP will kick out the user if you remote onto it. You cannot share the screen with them.
I use Logmein and TV, but they aint cheap for the full versions.
VNC is ok and join.me is ok for ad-hoc connections.
