As title says I need to overclock a Nvidia card, whats the best software.
9800gx2 btw
Would kinda like to keep an eye on temps as well

No help clocking her, painless really, funny issue right enough.

I had a fully stable 4GHz on my Q6600 (5 hour prime) I benched my 3870 at that for a 3dmark06 of 13904 (nice for a 3870)

The 9800gx2 beats that almost at stock on my processor but the bottleneck was only letting me hit 12994.

I went up to 3.6GHz and topped 17900. overclocked the card with MSI (as you said, again thanks) light card overclock took me up to 18744.
Now I thought, overclock the cpu to 4GHz and see if I get rid of any bottleneck, with the jump in scores I see the Q6600 is bottlenecking even at 3.6.

Now I can bench @ 4GHz on my 3870 but not with this 9800gx2, I tested this just now and my 3870 will bench at that GHz.

Didnt know graphics cards could do this....any ideas anyone?

You're getting higher scores in 3D mark 06 as it's quite a cpu limited benchmark, try running vantage that'll give your video card a better workout.

As for your stability the 9800GX2 draws a lot more power than the 3870 so could be a possible power supply issue.

What are the rest of your components like? PSU, memory, mainboard etc.

4GHz on a Q6600 is quite impressive what sort of voltages are you running through it?
