Use the built in windows backup to image your current SSD to another hdd and make a boot recovery CD, then swap the SSD drives out and boot from the CD and use it to restore the image to your new ssd, simples
Rather than start a new thread on the same subject I'll throw my question into the mix.
I've received my new 840 Pro this morning and cloned my old SSD across to it. A quick check with windows explorer suggests all the files and folders have indeed been cloned but when I remove the old SSD and attempt to boot from the Pro I get the default Windows error about selecting a proper boot device.
Do I have to go down the route of "fixmbr" by booting from the Windows CD or can it be fixed from within windows itself?
