Best Solution For this Setup?

Just wondering what would be my best options for setting up a link between 2 computers, whilst they need wireless to access the internet?

I know I could just link them via cable and then use one of them to share the internet connection to the other, but I'd like them to remain wireless independently so that they don't both have to be on for one to use the others internet.

Just grab a cheap wireless router and use that as a network bridge and do away with the wireless adapters? Powerline adapters somehow?

If they're both connected to the same router with wireless you already have a possible connection between them.

Sorry yes, they are already connected via the router, but wanted a fast connection for data transfer purposes. Games mainly.

Games don't use much data.

Either run a network cable to both or carry on as you are.
