I have just ordered this monitor

Which will be used plugged in to my MSI GE66 and I use edifier DB1280BT speakers.
Usually I have had the optic sound cable from the speakers to the TV and that's it. What would be my best bet for good sound.
1. 3.5mm jack audio cable from the monitor to the speakers
2 . Connect speakers to laptop via Bluetooth
3. 3.5mm jack from the speakers to the laptop
Not even sure number 1 would work.
