best speaker setup

what would you say is the best speaker setup
here.
been looking at the
creative t3
corsair sp2500
Microlab SOLO9C

any info would be great thanks

I'd choose the SP2500 over the T3, but if space is not an issue, I'd go for the Solo 9C.

Friend of mine bought a pair of the Solo 9C's not so long ago. They are huge things, but very good sound indeed.

got the Microlab SOLO8C and love them

I have the Microlab Solo7C (more or less like Solo9C without optical input), and I can tell you that they are best used as higher volume at distance than at close proximity.

For movie and game with lots of explosion and effect sound, my Corsair SP2500 does very well; but for music my Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 is simply better hands-down.

So it's really down to what you use it for, and how far are you going to be sitting away from it.
