Basically I'm downsizing my bedroom so I can fit a double bed in which means all my DJ stuff has gone, gonna sell my seperates as the rooms too small to set them up properly and thus I'm gonna get an LCD Monitor/TV and kinda use my PC as a part time media centre, mostly for music to be honest.

Thus, I want recommendations for good PC speakers! 5.1 setup ideally.

Wants:
Headphone input
Remote control
Line in for other sources I may want to use on the odd occasion

Was considering looking into wireless stuff for the rears but more concerned with sound quality especially going from good seperates down to simply "PC speakers" lol.

Not sure whats on the market, been looking @ Logitech stuff but open for ideas so I can take a look at the speakers in question and find reviews etc.

Opinions then guys?

Haha, I'm more into sound quality than loads of speakers and thousands of watts really and I've got an install in me car for that anyways :)

At the mo I've got a Marantz SR4400 AV amp, Monitor Audio Bronze B2 speakers, on stands and a Sony CD player then PC linked to it, but my room is 3x2m and no space for speakers on stands and all that tosh no more so its all gotta go, hence small stuff. The speakers are like 13" deep, then on stands, then a double beds gotta squeeze in, desk, wardrobe, drawers etc and paperwork so you get the idea :(

Do like the Z-5500 but the sub is big, albeit very bassy, my mates got that system in his room. Bit boomy though so smaller sub probably be better in my room with it being so small.

Looked @ the 5450's too, not too bad and I'm ok for rear plugs but I guess wireless isn't essential really.

Will look into the Creative stuff, just never been as impressed with it as the Logitech kit.

PS: yes I know I'm downgrading in sound quality lol but if I keep this lot getting a double bed in and having some comfort is not gonna happen.
