Best speed camera detector?

What's the best speed camera detector I can buy, will have to buy it tonight so going to Halfords, I'm looking at the road angel compact, seems like a good little unit for 150 quid + free laser thingy
 
Just gave it a road test and works superbly, got it set to alert me 500m before the camera, the display changes to red and tells you your speed, what the speed limit is and type of camera, as you get closer it bleeps, the bleeps get closer together as you get closer to the camera, the display starts flashing as you are right on top of the camera and bleeps very fast, soon as you pass it stops. Only picked up the cameras in the direction I was heading, so no false alarms. Will help get me to Newcastle tomorrow safely without getting done :D
 
I've just got back from Newcastle, 300 mile trip each way and the road angel picked up every single camera, including truvelos, gatsos and specs (keeps beeping til you're out of it) never got a warning for mobile speed traps so I'm assuming it doesn't warn you about them unless the roads I went on don't have mobile traps, didn't see a single one. Very impressed with the Compact :D

With RA, the database is updated daily meaning you only get warnings for cameras which are due to be out for that day, rather than a generic 'mobile hotspot'.

Didn't know it worked like that, very cool :D how often do that update the database, monthly?
