What's the best SSD recommend for a 2011 Mac Mini for about 200?

I've seen on YouTube that the OCZ 240 MAX is apparently great but I've also read on the net that they can be unreliable.

So what is out there.. Around 256GB or slightly less and Sata 3?

Many thanks :)

Samsung 830 or Crucial M4.

About the only recommendations you'll get around here (for good reason ;)).

Think I'll probs go for an 830.. Only 20MBs write slower than the M4 but 100Mbs quicker reads!

Now I just have to pluck up the courage to install it.

Is 16GB RAM overkill for web development and stuff? Will 8GB suffice?

The m4 and 830 offer similar real world performance. Just buy whichever drive is the cheapest (the 830 notebook kit at the moment is £15 cheaper), you will notice no difference whatsoever. The "ratings" that you have read are before the m4 firmware update, in the real world they are close.
